Hey guys && happy Wednesday!
Winter has officially brought us some snow that is going to stay for bit. There is nothing better than sunshine skies and a layer of bright white on the ground (Northern Michigan has my heart don't attack me for saying I love snow, okay?). June and I got out and enjoyed the fresh snow, we hope you did too!

Today I am bringing you three ways to help your mane, all checking out at under 10 dollars. Brought to you by my amazon cart. Its easy to start spending all sorts of cash when you are trying to up your hair game, whether its the new hair mask R+Co dropped (which L O V E  btw) or a fresh balayage before you hit Cancun (also 100% support). While I am not in support of drug store hair and skin products, I do think that some tools, that you kind find at CVS, Amazon, Walmart, etc, are completely worth the hype.

SHOP WET BRUSH
(1) THE WET BRUSH
The wet brush, coming in your amazon cart at 9.95. The thing about the wet brush is I would  pay a wholeeee lot more for this brush because it is freakin magical. I really have no idea why it works so much better than any other brush, but let me tell you it does. If you have ever been part of my blow dry class you have used it, because I love it so much I gift each and every person that attends my class. I wish I could gift it to everyone that reads this blog too, but until Wet Brush makes me famous I cant really do that (hehe). heres the deal - it is a no pull brush while evenly distributing the oils from your scalp all through your ends, whether you have super fine hair or thick coarse hair, it will do the trick. I love using it at night when I get ready for bed before I spray some dry shampoo in my hair, or in the morning as I am curling my hair. I love it because I literally have the lowest pain tolerance and the tangliest hair on the planet. In my opinion the wet brush is not just for when your hair is wet, because it really does a good job of of untangling without completely frizzing out your hair when it is dry too. It softens your hair and detangles at a very fast rate, trust me on this, I brush at least 7 different heads of hair a day and it never ever fails.

(2) THE MICROFIBER TOWEL
The microfiber towel, coming in your amazon cart at 9.95. Microfiber towels are not just for drying your car off these days, not only does it not scratch your windows it prevent breakage on your hair. regular ol cotton towels is softer to the touch but a lot harder on your hair. Using a microfiber towel to wrap your hair after you hop out of the shower will not only help prevent breakage, but it promotes water retention in your hair (instead of all the moisture hanging out in the cotton towel) and will also cut down your blow dry time. Cutting down the blow dry time will cut down on the amount of heat damage your hair is exposed to, and there ya have it, the chain reaction. These towels are till fresh in my beauty rotation and will hopefully be making an appearance in the salon for all my clients to become micro fiber believers.

SHOP HAIR COILS
(3) HAIR COILS
Hair coils, coming in your amazon cart for 7.99 for an 8 pack. I do have to say, my sister in law gifted me a pack of these a year or so ago and I did not really believe they would work. My biggest pet peeve is putting my hair in a pony and half way through my workout my hair being 90 percent out of the pony tail (dagger). I also get so very annoyed when I am getting ready for the day after the gym, or having my hair in a bun and there is an aggressive line in my hair screaming “i haven't washed my hair in days”. Putting my annoyances aside, lets look at the facts. Continually putting your hair in a bun or ponytail will start to damage little hairs and create breakage, which is no bueno. Not only is breakage not a great look, either is having a perfect crease around your hair as your trying to rock some beach curls. After using hair coils, I am happy to report that I am firm believer. They don't slip out of your hair (which is still confusing to me) or leave creases or any breakage. Please please add these to your cart, and throw your regular hair ties away, okay? Now, fast forward a few months and you have been using the same hair coils for a while and they are starting to stretch out a little and you're rolling your eyes at me because you think they are too good to be true. please don't roll your eyes, and then just soak them in some hot water and they will just shrink right back up to they size they were to begin with!

My challenge for you this week is to add one thing to your daily routine to amp up your hair game, whether it is getting rid of crappy hair ties, or putting that heat protectant on your hair before you turn your blowdryer on. All the little things matter aaaand don't forget what all the cool kids say, #allyouneedisgoodhair.

have a beautiful day
